On January 8, 2008 | 11:02 pmIsam: Thanks, I know what you mean. The situation is not much better here. Ramallah is so close to Jerusalem that i see Jerusalem’s skyline every single day. So close, yet so far.
Now as i prepare myself for another journey, Jerusalem (and indeed Palestine) seems yet one step further (yet in my heart is is always at center stage … it is so magical).

Did you see the movie “Ana fil Quds”? I didn’t find much about it on the net… Anyway if you haven’t seen it I reviewed it on my blog

This is what I found on the net:
فيلم أنا في القدس” الفائز بمهرجان اتحاد الإذاعات والتلفزيونات في تونس، يعتبر فوزا عظيما جدا فهو عمل مميز وجديد من نوعه وخرج عن التقليد في العمل الوثائقي التلفزيوني، قال جبر فؤاد الذي اشرف ووضع فكرة فيلم أنا في القدس”.

On June 3, 2008 | 6:38 pmEverybody: Thanks for visiting, and thanks for your kind words.
KJ: I am glad you and your friends liked it. The fact is that in order to visit Jerusalem you have to get a permit from the Israelis .. and these permits are very hard to get, and they are only issued for a small period of time. So, when i finally got mine, i was only able to visit Jerusalem for one day. So, all my pictures were from that one visit. I do have a bunch of other ones, but they are mostly inside the old city and on the way to the noble sanctuary (haram al-shareef) .. i will post those if they want.
I also have shot a few pictures from inside the car as i was on my way to Jenin .. and you can find these here: Palestinian Olives .. and there are also some pictures of Ramallah here: Sporadic Pictures of Ramallah (the quality is not great). I will post the other Jerusalem pictures (or send them to you) soon.
